Activating a Previously Purchased PC Game

If you've lost or deleted the game that you've PURCHASED/REDEEMED, please find your game in our alphabetical listing and go to that game's product page where there is a "Download Now" link. *If you are activating a Nancy Drew game, please refer to the link in your confirmation email to download from.

If you need your codes, please enter your email address here  and submit.

Please scroll to the bottom of the help section to locate the drop down menu of all of our games.

Once you have downloaded and installed the trial version, run your game. You should see a page that says "Start Free Trial" or "Unlock Full Version". If you do not see this page when you first run the game, exit the game, and the page should appear. If the page does not appear when you run or exit, your game is already activated and you are ready to start playing.

Once you see the page that says "Start Free Trial" or "Unlock Full Version", look for a link in the lower left hand corner that says "Already Paid? Click here." Click that link.

Next you will be asked for your email address and activation code. Please be sure and enter the same email address that you used to make the purchase. Your activation code can be found in the confirmation email you received at the time you purchased your game. To avoid discrepancy, the best thing to do is copy (ctrl c) and paste (ctrl v) this code.

Activating a PC Game On Another Computer

You can install and activate your game a total of 5 times. If you need your codes re-sent, please click here, enter your email address and submit.

To perform this installation, follow these instructions:

1. Make sure your computer is connected to the Internet.

2. If you DO NOT have the software currently installed on your machine, you can download it by clicking on the "Download Now" button on the game page.

3. When prompted, choose "SAVE."

4. Save the product to your desktop.

5. Double-Click on the Product on your desktop.

6. Complete the Installation.

7. Once the product is installed, run it from your "START > Programs menu" or from the icon on your desktop.

8. To unlock the game, launch the product and box will appear with several options. Click the "Already Paid? Click Here" link in the lower left hand corner.

9. .Enter your activation code and email address exactly as they appear in the confirmation message you received when the game was purchased.

No Confirmation Email

The confirmation email is automatically sent immediately following your purchase. Make sure your junk mail filter is not too sensitive and that your web server and your own email settings are not blocking messages from trymedia.com (PC) or bigfishgames.com. If you do not receive your receipt immediately after purchase (PC),  please submit a request that your confirmation email is re-sent to you. You can do so here.

If you are a Mac customer and have not located your receipt in another folder, please submit a request to our support department and we will be happy to re-send it.

A NOTE TO AOL USERS : If you have an AOL email address, please go to your Manage Mail tab and check your Spam folder for an email from Trymedia Systems(PC) or Big Fish Games.

Trial Versions

Most of our games have a free trial version. Playing the trial version of a game will insure that you are happy with your selection and that the game is compatible on your system. If you are unable to play the free trial version, it usually means that it has already been used on that machine. If it has not been played, there may be a problem with the registry on your computer. You may wish to ask your technician for assistance with fixing any problems. There is no way to add time back to a trial version once it has expired.

In some cases, the game may be to large to offer a trial version. Larger games will use a significant amount of bandwidth and you will need to check the game requirements and confirm that you are exceeding those specifications in order to run those games. You must have a high speed connection (Broadband recommended) in order to download those files correctly. If you have a slow connection, the game will likely be problematic, so we suggest that you take this into consideration before purchase.

Game Locks up or Crashes

Many times these types of issues can be resolved by simply uninstalling and reinstalling the game.

Also, many games in the Arcade require the most recent version of DirectX in order to run properly. DirectX is freely available from Microsoft here.

Otherwise, be sure to check the minimum specifications of the particular game you are installing and be sure that the computer you are using meets those specifications.

Sound Problems

Many older soundcards aren't fully compatible with Microsoft DirectX. Usually, simply updating your soundcard drivers will fix any strange sound problems you may encounter. Check with your manufacturer (or your soundcard manufacturer's web site) for the latest drivers.

Video Problems

If your are having problems with your video, simply updating Direct X or your video cards drivers will usually fix the problem. Check Windows Update, or with your video card manufacturer's web site, for the latest drivers for your card.
